The UT administration entrusted the charge of Plincipal, Medical College and Hospital -32, Chandigarh, to Professor Jasbinder Kaur.

Professor Kaur has been in charge of the academics-cum-head of the department of Biochemistry. She joined GMCH, in 1996 as a Reader of Biochemistry and became a Professor and Head Biochemistry in 2004.  She was entrusted with the charge of professor incharge of academics in 2018.
