The 23^rd annual conference of Association of medical Biochemists of INDIA was held from 20^th November 2015 to 22^nd November 2015 at Pt B.D Sharma, P.G.I.M.S, Rohtak. The theme of conference was “Expanding horizons in biochemistry”. The preconference workshop was held on 19^th November 2015 on the topics “Gas chromatography: Mass spectrometry” and “Immunological Techniques”. The chief guest of honor for inauguration was Governor of Haryana, Prof Kaptan Singh Solanki. The key note address was given by Dr Veena Singh Ghalaut.

More than 600 delegates from all over India and abroad attended the conference. The main focus of conference was on newer and affordable diagnostic tools, technical advances and treatment modalities for benefit of common man. This meet encouraged the new generation of biochemists as we are burdened by diseases of developed as well as developing world. We tried to explore modalities, possibilities and new frontier in research and development to deal not only with society’s urgent needs but with complex scientific problems as well. The conference was a great success.
